K-Mac Facilities Management Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Operative to join our team in the Dublin region. The role involves delivering comprehensive general maintenance services across multiple client sites, requiring both independent work and collaboration within a larger team. The position demands strong customer-facing skills and the ability to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in commercial and domestic settings.
IE - General Operative
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
- Perform maintenance repairs, including basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks, along with other ad hoc services.
- Identify and resolve building fabric and service issues efficiently.
- Planned and Reactive Maintenance:
- Deliver planned maintenance routines and respond to emergency breakdowns.
Client Interaction:
- Act as the first point of contact for client representatives, providing technical support and solutions.
- Professionally represent K-MAC in all client interactions.
- Stock and Equipment Management:
- Manage stock levels of key materials and order replacement parts as needed.
Operational Efficiency:
- Adhere to K-MAC-defined procedures, service routines, and schedules.
- Use K-MAC systems and platforms to document work and maintain service records.
Experience & Requirements:
- Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PC operations and a willingness to learn K-MAC systems.
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities for maintenance tasks.
Flexibility:
- Availability for flexible hours and callouts as required.
- A positive attitude towards varied tasks and working without supervision.
Experience:
- Prior work in maintenance or service environments is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with clients, sub-contractors, and team members effectively.
Location:
Based at our Dublin office, with travel to client sites as required.
Driving License: A full and clean license is mandatory.
